Daily encrypted file backup requires a private recovery kit that you generate and keep. The server receives only its public key.
Daily target after setup; seven completed generations retained and 30-day maximum readable age. Deleted and expired files stay excluded. This is file recovery, not a whole-account or contractual disaster-recovery SLA.
1. Save a private recovery kit
Store the downloaded JSON securely outside this service. Losing it prevents decryption. It cannot be re-downloaded or replaced here after setup.
The kit is specific to this client file workspace. Private keys remain in your browser and downloaded file.
2. Restore verified files
Restore creates a fresh file workspace and adopts it for this same client. Individual agency access keys keep working. Old download links are not restored. Set up a new recovery kit after restoration.
